Faena: Centinela Mine
Deadline 01/07/2025
Closing Time 4:00 pm
Centinela Mining, part of the Antofagasta Minerals group, maintains a permanent commitment to improving the conditions of habitability and wellbeing in its facilities. In this line, the opportunity has been identified to continue optimizing air quality in several areas of the mining camps, both in open spaces – such as recreational areas, sports fields, transit areas and common spaces – and in closed spaces, such as residential areas, offices, casinos and hotel areas. The presence of particulate matter and silica from internal traffic, mining roads, environmental dust and production activities poses a challenge for which the company is seeking technological solutions to mitigate and reduce its concentration, in line with its environmental sustainability standards.
Permanently due to the proximity of the mining camps to the mine pit (approximately 1 km) and also mainly due to weather conditions in the area.
Companies, startups, institutes, research centers or other legally constituted entities, in accordance with the current legislation of their country of origin. Natural persons are excluded in this call. We extend the invitation to promote collaboration and complement technological and/or entrepreneurial capabilities between companies, startups or other entities. For teams and consortia, the responsible institution must be clearly identified in the application
